Capital Displays designed and installed a complete Ubiquiti UniFi system for The Goddard School in Ashburn, VA — including enterprise-grade wireless access points and cameras for reliable coverage and performance. The client needed a clean, professional network and signage solution that would enhance the visitor experience while remaining easy to manage. We also integrated and programmed a legacy Vodavi phone system, configuring key phones, extension cards, and system settings to run seamlessly alongside the new infrastructure. The result is a stable, scalable, easy-to-manage UniFi-based network with reliable camera coverage and a fully functional phone system — all professionally installed, tested, and documented for long-term reliability.

The client needed a reliable access-control system combining a modern cloud-based intercom with existing door hardware, working smoothly across multiple entrances. Capital Displays troubleshot and optimized the ButterflyMX intercom and access-control system — touchscreen intercom, cloud directory, maglocks, and electric strikes — and corrected key integration issues between modern and legacy components, including proper normally-open (NO) and normally-closed (NC) configuration. Both entry points are now fully operational, delivering a stable, secure, and easy-to-manage system that blends modern convenience with reliable hardware.

Capital Displays installed and programmed an LTS access-control system for Moore Tower, providing 75 programmable key fobs for 75 building residents. The new system was integrated with the existing Horton automatic entrance door, letting residents enter securely by presenting an assigned fob. The project also included programming and activation of all resident key fobs and setup of an office workstation so building staff can add, remove, and manage resident credentials as needed. The completed system provides secure, controlled entry while giving property management a simple way to manage building access.

Dulles Suites Hotel (now Mainstay Suites) in Sterling, VA needed a modern, reliable camera system across multiple buildings, with better coverage and centralized monitoring. Capital Displays delivered a multi-phase project installing 24 cameras using technologies like panoramic cameras and HDMI extenders, ensuring full coverage and overcoming wiring challenges. The hotel now enjoys a convenient on-premise solution with no subscription fees, letting staff monitor all cameras from both the office and reception areas on multiple displays.

Office Evolution in Herndon, VA needed a simple, professional digital-signage solution to enhance the lobby and shared common areas of their coworking space — a modern, welcoming atmosphere for tenants and visitors without adding operational complexity for staff. Capital Displays installed a digital-signage solution powered by Atmosphere TV, including display mounting, device setup, and platform configuration, integrated seamlessly into the existing space to deliver curated, brand-safe content. Office Evolution now benefits from an engaging, low-maintenance signage solution that elevates their coworking space with minimal ongoing management.

A cutting-edge system that dynamically adapts on-screen content based on real-time audience demographics for a personalized, engaging customer experience. A small video camera on top of the display uses an advanced video-analytics engine to gauge the viewer’s age and gender, then triggers the CMS to queue the most relevant video ad, with pre-prepared clips targeting specific demographics — for example, cosmetics for a 35-year-old woman or a luxury-car spot for a 50-year-old man, with gradual segmentation by decade for ages 20 to 60+. This automated, data-driven approach optimizes in-store advertising, increasing engagement and maximizing sales potential.

Capital Displays implemented an advanced video-analytics system to modernize waste-management monitoring for a City Council. Previously, six employees manually monitored live camera feeds to track subcontractor performance — an inefficient, labor-intensive process. We replaced manual surveillance with AI-powered video-analytics software that automatically detects key events: a trash vehicle arriving at the collection site and the lifting and loading of the container into the truck. When both actions occur within a set timeframe, the system verifies a successful pickup and maps the data citywide. The result automated the work of six operators, increased accuracy and efficiency, provided a citywide visual map of completed pickups, and reduced human error and labor costs — a smarter, data-driven approach to city operations.
